  1. I hope no one takes this the wrong way, but I don't like the word obsession, it's a dangerous state of mind. In my own mind, it's not a healthy term. Obsession triggered me into anorexia (and bulimia). Perhaps you can say it's ok to be committed and devoted to your health and body rather than being obsessed with diet and exercise.

  2. I haven't quite gotten to that obsession stage yet. But I started changing my lifestyle about 2 1/2 months ago, I HATE HATE HATE the word diet… so to me it's lifestyle change, I am 42 years old and I have lost almost 30 pounds so far. Merely by setting my mind to eating healthier, get some exercise in, WANTING to look healthier. My biggest challenge is the stomach fat, everything is starting to slim down, rear, legs, torso 🙂 but the stomach is THE toughest by far, to me at least. Do you have any advice for that? whenever I look it up, I keep seeing Crunches. I have arms/shoulders on Tuesdays, Back/Torso/Traps on Thursdays and stomach/legs on Saturdays, the rest are healing days or just cardio…. I really hope I am doing it right, it feels right to me! 🙂 Should I add more days?

Thank you SO SO much for helping out with the motivation, that is my BIGGEST hurdle, motivating myself.

  3. I’ve always been up and down. I was obsessed years ago. And lost 200 pounds going down to 120 very skinny. I was sick and I was still seeing myself fat. I started eating like a pig again. I went to 180. Pretty big. Then went down to 150. I decided to try a bulk. Keep in mind I still lifted weights everyday while I’m on my diet. I actually will never stop lifting weights. I took a small break this year in March because of my messed up shoulder. But was back at it a month later. I am presently 230! I want to get down to 165 and stay there.

  4. i have watched alot of youtube guys to try to motivate me . but none of them have ever touched me like you just did with this video. thank you for being such a inspiration to thousands of people

  5. I can identify with this video a good deal. I'd rather be obsessed with fitness and healthy eating than obsessed with food which is what got me to 277lbs. I love your videos thanks for the inspiration!

  6. My obsession gets me up at 4:45am so that I can get 1full hour in before the wife goes to work and I have to be back to look after my kid.

  7. I agree, obsession is powerful. However I believe it can be dangerous and become problematic for certain people (weight loss has lead me to an eating disorder… just an example).
Don't want to sound overly dramatic or negative, it's just some food for thought -no pun intended

  8. What are your thoughts on low carb (Atkins), paleo?? were you on any diets when you started your weight loss journey??
